Wildlife Biologists in Training - John Hendry Park (Trout Lake Park)

Ages: 8 - 10

Calling all future Wildlife Biologists! At this week-long day-camp, your children will embark on a journey into the fascinating world of wildlife biology. Through hands-on activities, educational and energetic games, and interaction with the nature, your campers will develop their knowledge of the diversity of wildlife that call our forests, oceans, and freshwater ecosystems home! This camp will inspire your child to become a Wildlife Biologist in Training.

Throughout the week, campers will learn about the interconnections between land and water, and the captivating critters that live in the Pacific Northwest. Through active games, hands-on science experiments, and land-based learning, campers will become familiar with the challenges that face our environment, and what actions they can take to fiercely protect wildlife!

Some exciting activities include:

🗺️ Map Making
🌿 Indigenous medicinal plant identification

Embark on an adventure this summer with Wildlife Biologists in Training!

Please Note:

  • Lunch is not included; ensure your kids come with enough food, water, and clothing suited to be outdoors all day.

  • Note: there is NO swimming during this camp.

  • In the event of an air quality advisory, programming may be adjusted.
